• Food and basic needs for those living without Hope, support and strength to live an empowered and self-sufficient life

Building a community is about the common good for all people.  It is about changing failing systems to help everyone in need. We are all connected and we all win when a family goes to bed with food in their stomach, when a parent completes their GED and teaches their children how to succeed in school or when families become financially responsible and break out of poverty.

The UMMA Center’s goal is to create long-lasting, sustainable changes by addressing the underlying causes of these problems. Becoming an Agent of Social Change means being a part of the work. It takes everyone in the community working together to help those in need reclaim their futures.
