Food Pantry
The UMMA Center accepts monetary donations and non-perishable food donations for its food pantry. The UMMA center distributes free food twice a week to low income residents in Lake County. For a list of suggested food pantry donation items, please see the list on this page.
Charity Clothing
The UMMA Center conducts clothing drives throughout the year at scheduled intervals. The goal of the program is to provide essential clothing items such as coats, shoes, and basic everyday wear. The UMMA center distributes the clothes free of charge to the community. The general policy of the UMMA center is to only accept clothes that have been washed and are in good condition. We want to provide the best clothing possible for the low income community. Several donors have decided to donate new clothing in addition to their used clothing in the past. Before donating clothes please contact the UMMA Center office for more details about when the next clothing drive will take place.
Thank you for your generosity! Please contact the UMMA Center for more details on either of these efforts: 847-336-6136 or email us at info@ummacenters.org.
